This support is designed to keep the student on a forward path to independence by avoiding the setbacks that can happen when the student leaves the academic and therapeutic environment. Ultimately, our goal is your goal: A happy and full life, rooted in self-sufficiency, for your child.
At Shrub Oak, we offer two types of residential programs: year-round and five-day. In the five-day program, students live on campus Monday through Friday and go home over the weekends. In either program, you can visit your child as often as you like.
We understand that the decision to seek a boarding school environment is a careful and measured one that involves the close advice and counsel of your family support team as well as clinical, academic and child advocacy experts. We’re here to answer your questions and address your concerns. We invite you to meet and talk with our clinical and academic teams to learn more about what life will be like for your child at Shrub Oak.
