Andrew is an experienced clinician and administrator with more than 15 years of experience in mental health treatment and more than 10 years specifically in adolescent residential mental health treatment.  Andrew has held various roles within residential treatment programs including Clinician, Clinical Director, Assistant Program Director, and Director of Evidence Based Practice. Through these roles he has developed a thorough understanding of the nuanced complexities of residential care, and what it takes to provide holistic best-practice treatment to youth with significant emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges, and their families. In both direct practice and leadership roles, Andrew has extensive experience serving youth with diagnostic presentations including autism, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, psychosis, and trauma, and managing behaviors including aggression, suicidality, self-harm, and elopement. Andrew has also had training in numerous clinical treatment models including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Family Therapy.
