Professional:  

Ed is the Director of Education and has more than four decades of experience in special education and general education in both the private and public sectors. He began his career as a special education teacher and then entered the world of school and district leadership. His school leadership positions included assistant principal, principal, director, superintendent, and executive director. His leadership is based on advocating for students, evidence-based instruction and curriculum, trauma informed interventions and professional development. Each of the school district agencies he has led featured student-centered innovative programs with high levels achievement across content areas. He has been particularly successful in creating educational environments that are inclusive of students, families and the community.  

Personal: 

Ed has a keen interest in sports – especially his beloved New York Mets, New York Giants and Manchester United. When not cheering on his teams he can be found cross-training, hiking in the Adirondacks, and enjoying his condominium in Saratoga. His true passion includes spending time with his wife, two children and his three grandchildren.
