Mary Lavan has more than two decades of experience in the field of education and health promotion, and brings significant expertise in marketing and outreach to the Shrub Oak Admissions team.
Mary earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English from Binghamton University in New York where she also earned a certificate in Business. She then spent several years as an environmental advocate, before beginning her career in education at the March of Dimes. During her tenure at March of Dimes, Mary spearheaded the organizations’ efforts to obtain accreditation as a continuing education provider and led the development of professional education content, in print and online, that served to distinguish March of Dimes as a trusted source of evidence-based continuing education. Mary is passionate about helping others, and is thrilled to be part of the Shrub Oak team.
She is excited to help families and students find their way to Shrub Oak so they, too, can be inspired and educated by the school’s incredible staff.
