PROFESSIONAL:
Rachel is the Director of Health and Wellness at Shrub Oak International. Her primary focus is on providing exceptional medical care to the entirety of our student population. She has over 13 years’ experience in pediatrics, spanning across some of the top hospitals in the United States, including Cedar Sinai, The Children’s Hospital of Montefiore, and Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. Rachel’s most recent five years have been spent in pediatric leadership roles with an emphasis on helping those with developmental disabilities. Now at Shrub Oak, she strives to deliver patient-centered care, utilizing both evidence based and innovative approaches. She understands the unique challenges that families of students with developmental disabilities face, and she is committed to partnering with those families to find solutions tailored to each child’s needs.
PERSONAL:
Outside of Shrub oak, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. On the weekends you will find her gardening, reading, playground hopping, and trying new restaurants.
