Gil Tippy is one of the founders of Shrub Oak International School, was one of the original co-directors of the school, and was its first clinical director. Additionally, he was a founder of the Rebecca School in New York City, and also its original clinical director. Gil is the co-author, with Stanley I. Greenspan, of Respecting Autism and he sits on the advisory boards of major national and international autism organizations including the International Council on Development and Learning (ICDL) and the U.S. Autism Association. He consults with schools, clinics, and individuals internationally on making the DIRFloortime® model effective in their settings.
